Snowcapped Mountains
This is where you can travel to the mountains, a ski resort, and the northern crater. You can also find the Buddhist temple there as well. You can find a lot of worlds that had fallen into the glacial wastelands here.

Lush Forest
An area covered with woodlands and forest. Some say forests of great importance lie in wait here. The homes of the Chocobos and the legendary Lost Woods. Beware, bandits like to camp here at night.

Clock Town of Termina
Four sections of town, four sections of fun. This town is filled to the brim with life! A carnival is in process, a never ending carnival, to celebrate the revival of the town. Shop dealers, exotic shows, galleries, everything a filled town should have you can find here. There is also a small bar, which you should check out definitely! Not as great as Seventh Heaven, they do give out a nice pint of milk and they have live bands play for them weekly! The world feels better somehow when you step into this town.

Ocean Bay
Sandy beaches, ocean air, a shining sun. It can all be found here. Who knows what can be lying in the ocean depths and deep in the the dark sea caves. Whether it's a place to sit back and relax or a place to explore, there is plenty to do here.

Desert Canyons
Whether you're looking down from the top or staring up from below, the dizzying heights of these canyons are enough to make any trained warrior go weak at the knees. A great place for taking photos and enjoying the view, but keep in mind the danger of falling down and meeting the creatures that await at the bottom.

Lagoon
With the clear water reflecting the sparkling sun, this is the perfect place to relax or go fishing. The lagoons are plentiful in fish, but who knows what else makes these beautiful waterholes their home. Perhaps a gorgeous goddess or even an angry water-witch, a leviathan perhaps? For better or for worse, there is an interesting time to be had.

Grasslands
These seemingly endless rolls of green give off the feeling of serenity and peace. Too bad too many wars have been fought on this land. Still, the grass grows high and lush, and when the wind hits it just right... Perfection. A perfect place to have a nice day out for a picnic or if you're just looking for a quiet place to think, this is the place. Beware, however, the danger that lurks underground as well as in plain sight.

The City of Midgar
A town of wonder and mystery, as well as allies and friends. Whether you're enjoying life of the surface or exploring the slums below, it's certainly an interesting place. With a friendly barmaid and some interesting customers, 7th Heaven Bar is certainly worth a visit! Just make sure to stay away from the Mako reactors, they're known to cause trouble.

Underground Caverns
However it is you ended up here, you may not live to regret it. The tunnels alone are hazardous to your health. Some are on the verge of collapsing and sinister creatures lurk in the shadows. Despite the danger, explorers and men of science come here in search of fossils and rare artifacts.

Desert
This large expanse of sand seems to go on forever. Oasis's and mirages are aplenty in this desolate area of the world. Rolling hills of brown sand can hide many treasures just as it can hide many dangers. Be careful not to travel alone, lest you get lost. Don't worry though, you'll find waypoints... if you're lucky.

Medieval Towns
Towns that seem to be thrown back to primitive ages. Wenches, cutthroats, pirates, even kings are currently aplenty in this area. The most religious sanctions can be found in this area, as well as some of the most bloodshed. Knights, rogues, mages, everyone can find a piece of their own world here.

Ruins
Once great towering structures, now degraded to ruins on the ground. Who knows what great magnificence these stones once held? Maybe if you look around you'll find a story worth telling. Just keep an eye out for treasure hunters and thieves that will stop at nothing to possess the riches that could be hidden away here.

The City of Rapture Rebirth
This city once ruled at the bottom of the ocean as a 60's version of Atlantis. It was great, a perfect utopia, but greed makes fools of us all and it fell into oblivion. But by a weird stroke of luck, Rapture found its way to the surface and now is trying to rebuild itself, thus the name Rapture Rebirth. Little girls with big syringes roam the drying roads as well as their robotic guardians. Very much like a modern town, you can find everything from a movie theater, to a park and a subway. The world watched it sink, now watch it rise!

Islands
The ocean is a vast and seemingly endless place, but it is far from empty. Islands, both large and small, are placed randomly around the deep blue, as if out of nowhere. Some say they are actually the mountain tops of lands which sunk, but to most they are just considered home. A nice place to get away, to build a life, or to find some very rare and exotic things as well as have a party of a lifetime!

Cozy little houses, simple farms that the villagers depend on for life. Animals and crops are aplenty in these bustling villages. With the influences of bigger powers, any secret could be hidden behind all those smiles. The question is, would you risk disturbing the perfect harmony to find out?

With all of the most up to date technology available, this is where more advanced companies are starting to make their mark. A good place for trade and tourism, but what could be hiding in the dark?

Mines
The deep, dark, holes that seem to lead to nowhere and which travel under most of the world are just one of many signs that something was here before the Cataclysm. You can easily get lost in these narrow tunnels without a proper guide or compass. Beware of those that live in the darkness, here they rule. Most of the minerals and other natural resources are mined from this area. A risky job but you get paid well to do it. Many underground worlds can be reached through here.

The City of Silent Raccoon
Strange movements in the dark, weird churches, advertisements for pharmaceutical companies. The streets just screams beware. Whether it's some sort of biological development or a creation of your own mind, you're bound to run into trouble. Danger sleeps around every corner of this modern city.

Swamp
One place that you certainly don't want to get lost in. It's dark, murky and if you stray from the path you'll find yourself waist-deep in dirty water. Even so, this is a place where wildlife can thrive and many tribes like to make their home here. Try not to disturb the balance, any number of things could get mad at you.

Wastelands
There is nothing wrong with this area. In fact, there is nothing at all. Cities, structures, villages, lives, all were lost as they crashed into the most barren of areas on the world. And yet, there is some form of life. Water flows, trees grow, it's not totally desolate but good luck trying to get the settlers to open up to you. Dry days, cold nights, with few rain showers in between, this area gets the harshest of all the weathers and thus has remained mostly devoid of life. There's no telling what you can find out here, as well as what you can lose.

Rocket Town
Floating Citadels in the skies, air ships, space ships, and even space itself, can all be reached here. The sky is open to all, you just have to find a way up there.

A legendary ancient sunken kingdom said to have occupied a tract of fertile land lying between Ramsey Island and Bardsey Island in what is now Cardigan Bay to the west of Wales. This is where special events and other things will take place.

Tatarus
Only the brave venture here. Down deep into the Earths core, there hides the demons and other monstrosities that couldn't stand the light. Its perfectly safe to travel into the core, the Mako rich tunnels somehow hold back the heat and pressure enough to travel. Not recommended for humans however.

The Dive
Where you can watch the Arena from a safe distance. State of the art comforts and giant screens to watch the fights. Open bar. Everything you can think of to relax, get comfortable, and watch someone else get beaten to a pulp. All in all, a good time is had.
